Course Objectives

  • Enable the graduates to master the healing art of Hijama Therapy.
  • It consists of 8 modules that cover all the basics of Hijama, the different modalities, the action plan of treatment, differ ailments treated by Hijama, theories of Hijama, Sunna points (basic points) and scientific research.
  • Physiology and Anatomy of the human body.
  • The oriental diagnosis as used by the traditional Chinese medicine TCM and the 7 stages of the disease. This will allow graduates to help the clients to find the root of the problem other than place a bandage on the problem.
  • Graduates will gain self-confidence to spread the prosperity of Hijama treatment
  • Graduates will learn safety measures of Hijama practice, They will carry their duty of care to the client professionally.
  • Graduates will learn and practice the 5 senses of the client and client-therapist relationship through role play and will demonstrate the ability to provide a customized care to their clients.
  • A graduate will be geared with essential marketing tips and effective tools specially designed for holistic practitioners.

Course Duration

It is a flexible course. The individual pace of each student is honored. Each student completes the course offline at her or his own pace. The student has up to 6-8 months to complete the course material, it can be completed sooner if the student chooses. In some cases, more time may be needed.

Students can enroll at any time throughout the year. It is approximately 500 hours of study including the hands-on training.

The student is given access to the course one module at a time, in order to maintain attention to the sequence of learning. When one process is completed, the student will answer a questionnaire and submit it. He/she will get some notes or comments on their answer, then the student is given access to the next one.

Learning Materials

Are presented via online readings, web resources and occasionally by online streaming audio and videos, There are no books to buy. All materials are contained within the course itself. Readings may be downloaded and printed for reading offline.

Hands-on training and Discussion Sessions

To be arranged with the instructor after the completion of module two. The student can choose to attend, Attendance at the hands-on training is not required but highly recommended, They provide a great opportunity for the students to meet as a group or one on one with the instructor and case study volunteers to practice Hijama and discuss the treatment action plan.

Software Programs

All necessary software for the course will be provided for free and can be easily downloaded from the internet.

Computer System

For accessing course materials can be Windows or Apple (Intel processor running OS 10.5+). The student needs to be able to send and receive email and email document attachments, and familiar with how to browse the internet.

Course Qualifications

Anyone who is passionate to learn and has a sincere desire to be of service to humanity may apply. Prior Hijama practice experience is not necessary. Willingness to work hard, think for yourself, and to be highly self-motivated for independent study are a must.

The successful online student is a person who enjoys learning and ready to grow the practice. Students will have passed a Final written Texan as well as provide 2-3 case study during the course of learning. Upon completion, the graduates will achieve a Certificate of completion in Hijama Cupping Therapy (HCT).
